While talking on her cellphone, Jeanine runs into Rick on campus. J.B. is about to punch Rick in the face after Rick makes a move on Jeanine. Rick turns to look at a couple conversing on a bench behind him.. Rick watches another couple pass by.
Walking to a different part of campus, Rick uses his broken eyeglasses to check out Julie (off-screen). Owen watches as Johonn makes a move on Julie. As Johonn and Julie converse with each other, Owen turns to stare at Teary's character as she passes by. Owen pulls a 'Fonz' and gives Teary's character (off-screen) a thumb-up.
Teary's character reacts to Owen trying to flirt with her. As Julie gazes on, Johonn is about to throw a football to off-screen Owen. Jeanine and her boyfriend J.B. arrive on the scene. After Julie parts ways with Owen and Johonn, she secretly meets up with another dude named Rob.
Julie and Rob are about to smooch. Ben arrives to look for his girlfriend Julie! Julie watches as Ben confronts Rob and prepares to beat the crap out of him. Returning at the worst possible moment, Johonn and Owen are about to be tackled by Julie's real boyfriend after he makes quick work of Rob.
Seeing just about enough, Rick walks away from the melee after spending the whole film taking notes on WHAT MAKES RELATIONSHIPS WORK!
