NOTE: In case you're wondering why some of the artwork below is either blurry or oddly cropped, it's because most of them were drawn on large poster boards...so I couldn't fit them inside a standard-size flatbed scanner. I had to use my still digital camera to photograph these drawings instead. Most of these artwork were made during my junior and senior years at Bishop Amat High School, while the rest were either done in an art class during my first year at Cal State Long Beach, or in a graphic design course I took at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Anyways... Enjoy!

A drawing of an alien (from the 1996 film INDEPENDENCE DAY) that I made during my junior year in high school. An NBA player for the Nevada Knights...a team I invented during my senior year in high school, haha. A skeleton. 'Nuff said. I used a charcoal pencil for this artwork. I employed the 'negative space' technique on this drawing.

This drawing was made during the summer of 1997...around the same time NASA's Mars Pathfinder spacecraft touched down on the Red Planet. A lightning storm strikes a mega metropolis in this 1996 high school drawing. I drew this basket using the comic book stencil method. This artwork is based on a magazine ad...which, of course, wasn't fragmented like this drawing is, haha. I had to stare at my reflection on a glass jar to make this artwork...which is why I look like that. No jokes on this, please. Haha.

The ultimate sci-fi battle... This artwork is obviously inspired by STAR WARS. Can't you tell by the flying droids, laser beams and spaceships? The warlord revealed. The warlord's helmet. An evil galactic city. A sinister alien wizard.

A Minotaur. 'Nuff said. A slimy alien creature. A robotic skeleton soldier. My own billboard design for the 1997 film, STARSHIP TROOPERS. This was drawn for a graphic design class I took at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design. My own CD cover design for a WU-TANG album, haha. This was drawn for a graphic design class I took at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design.

My own version of Van Gogh's THE BEDROOM. This was drawn for an art class I took during my freshman year at Cal State Long Beach. A sketch I drew of an old crush. A work-in-progress scan...of a drawing I made for someone special.

Aswang illustration #1. Aswang illustration #2. Aswang illustration #3. Aswang illustration #4.

Nighttime in the desert. Inspired by NYC. Robotic Cyclops. Lily A.

A work-in-progress collage of a drawing I made of NASA's New Horizons spacecraft. The drawing I made of NASA's New Horizons spacecraft. A painting I made of a spooky tree.
